Why a speaker on the deck falls short outside
Outdoor audio is a sound system built into the yard itself: speakers set through planting beds and along the edges of the lawn, subwoofers placed in the ground, and wire run underground to a source near the house. Indoors, walls hold sound in. Outside, there is nothing to bounce off, so a single speaker on the deck has to be turned up loud to reach the far side of the patio. It is too loud for the people next to it, too quiet for the people by the pool, and it carries over the fence. A distributed system solves that by using several speakers at a lower volume, so the music reaches everyone evenly.

What a distributed system looks like in a yard

We look at where you gather, where the neighbors are, what is planted, and where irrigation and lighting already run.
Lay out the system
Speaker, subwoofer, and wire locations are planned zone by zone, around the places you use.
Place and bury
Speakers are set into beds, subwoofers go in the ground, and wire is run below grade back toward the house.
Connect and listen
The system is connected at the source, and levels are set so each zone sounds even.
